The
Korea Specialty Chemical Industry Association(KSCIA)
was established in March, 1985, with the approval of
the Minister of Trade and Industry. Its purpose is to
contribute to the national economy and to mutually enhance
the welfare of member companies, by developing new fields
for the specialty chemical industry, and to achieve
balanced growth in the industry's various sectors through
information and research service.
In
the beginning of its establishment it started with 45
company members, but now the association has 101 company
members and 12 other chemical organizations related
not only the specialty chemical industry including pharmaceutical,
agrochemical, dyestuff, pigment, surfactant and adhesive
industries but also petrochemical, fertilizer, acid
and alkali industries. It includes almost all the chemical
industries as members and grows clearly as the representative
group of all the chemical industry in Korea. |
